Introducing HRM-Tri and HRM-Swim – The First Heart Rate Monitors for Land and Water from Garmin

Garmin today announced HRM-Tri and HRM-Swim, the company’s first underwater heart rate monitors. Featuring compact and comfortable designs for minimal drag through the water, triathletes and swimmers can take their training to the next level with HRM-Tri and HRM-Swim. Storing up to 20 hours of heart rate data during swims, both monitors forward data on to a compatible Garmin device at the end of a session and send real-time heart rate to the watch when the monitor is out of the water.
“Last year we introduced our Forerunner 920XT multisport watch, our most advanced all-in-one solution for triathlon training,” said Matt DeMoss, General Manager, Garmin Australasia.
“The HRM-Tri and HRM-Swim add another level for triathletes and swimmers, offering them the most comprehensive data to help them train for and achieve their goals.”
For more than 25 years, Garmin has pioneered new GPS navigation and wireless devices and applications that are designed for people who live an active lifestyle.
