Entries Now Open For 11th ASTRA Awards

Entries have now opened for the 11th annual ASTRA Awards, which recognise excellence in the Australian subscription TV (STV) industry.
Original and diverse programs from STV channels will be in the running for 21 awards in the categories of programming and production, subscribers’ choice as well as the coveted Channel of the Year.
“Subscription TV has become the bedrock for quality television. The depth of live and original programming is unrivalled with Australian subscribers having access to more than 200 channels on multiple devices and screens. Challenging, surprising, entertaining and informing, the ASTRA Awards celebrate the best Australian and international programming on STV,” said Petra Buchanan, CEO of ASTRA.
To be eligible to enter, programs must have been broadcast on STV between January 1, 2012 and February 28, 2013.
