Entertainment industry experts, Dean Buchanan and Karen Eck, have united to launch a new concept in talent management: Plus1.
As 25-year veterans in their respective fields of media and PR, they have come together as a natural extension to their media businesses.
Dean Buchanan is an experienced media executive, performance coach and negotiator. Karen Eck is highly skilled in media relations, publicity and branding. They believe their unique approach to talent management fills a gap in the market.
Their joint partnership in Plus1 operates alongside their established businesses. Dean Buchanan is a former radio executive and founder of Greenfern Entertainment consultancy and co-owner of TV Touring; Karen Eck is managing director of publicity agency eckfactor and its digital PR content division perfeckt.

Plus1 launches with two foundation clients: Host of The Voice and The Voice Radio Show on Nova, Darren McMullen; and Sami Lukas, host of Mix 106.5 Drive.

Dean Buchanan was Group Programming Director for dmg Radio Australia for 10 years. He was responsible for establishing the highly successful national Nova Network and has identified, coached and managed many of Australia’s leading radio stars. Prior to DMG he was a consultant in high demand internationally to broadcasters assisting them with content, talent and branding strategies. His consultancy, Greenfern Entertainment has worked with Channel V and represents The Radio Network New Zealand and Westpac Bank’s Alpha, Sports+Entertainment division.
