Modern day misadventures for three stackable bears! Highly anticipated comedy, We Bare Bears premieres in November

We Bare Bears is the latest original global hit animated comedy series from Cartoon Network, premiering Monday 16 November at 6pm exclusive to Cartoon Network (Foxtel Channel 713).

Created by Annie Award-winner Daniel Chong, We Bare Bears is an animated comedy about three brothers trying to fit in and make friends…which can be kind of hard when you’re a bear. Grizzly (Eric Edelstein), Panda (Bobby Moynihan) and Ice Bear (Demetri Martin) are masters of the selfie, fans of the food truck, and are the next big internet stars, or at least they think they are!

Grizzly leads Panda and Ice Bear with endless optimism in everyday misadventures of finding food, goofing around and dealing with each other – and the world around them. Through it all, these bears stick together and are very, very close…in fact their favourite way to get around town is by “bearstack,” a unique formation that features Grizzly atop Panda atop Ice Bear, who does all of the heavy lifting (as only the highly talented Ice Bear can do).

The highly anticipated bears arrive in Australia shortly after making impressive international debuts. In early ratings from the US, Europe and Latin America, We Bare Bears stacked up well, jumping into the top-10 kids shows in most countries.

Together the bear brothers have a lot to learn about the trendy residents that surround their humble Bay Area cave. Grizzly is the oldest of the brothers. Although he is the charismatic, jovial, and a highly motivated leader, Grizzly is not the brightest bear in the bunch. Panda loves pop culture and his smart phone and like many middle children, he’s both sensitive and a romantic. Ice Bear, the youngest in the family, is a bear of few words. He’s a bit odd and outwardly eccentric – after all, he refers to himself in the third person and sleeps in a refrigerator!

Along the way, the bears are joined by their best human friend Chloe (Charlyne Yi), a fame-flaunting Koala named Nom Nom (Patton Oswalt), and their neighbour Charlie (Jason Lee), a.k.a. Bigfoot.

We Bare Bears was conceived as part of Cartoon Network Studios’ thriving and prolific shorts development program which also created the network’s latest hit animated series Steven Universe, Uncle Grandpa, Clarence, and double Emmy®-winning Regular Show.

A special sneak peek episode ‘Viral Video’ will screen on Friday November 6 at 5.45pm on Cartoon Network (Foxtel Channel 713). We Bare Bears premieres on Cartoon Network (Foxtel Channel 713) on Monday 16 November at 6pm, continuing weekdays. Encore episodes will air weekends at 9am.

Being modern savvy bears, a brand new app Free Fur All will launch Monday 2 November, available to play on the Cartoon Network Australia website (www.cartoonnetwork.com.au) or alternatively available for free download on mobile devices. Cartoon Network will also have loads of fur-tastic games, clips and other content available on the We Bare Bears micro-site on CartoonNetwork.com.au and the Cartoon Network Watch and Play app immediately after the premiere episode on Monday 16 November.
