MTV LAUNCHES A BRAND NEW COUNTDOWN SHOW, MTV POP 20 HOSTED BY MTV VJS KATE PECK AND KRIT
Sydney, Australia; Friday 3 October: MTV AUSTRALIA today announced the launch of a brand new, locally produced and recorded chart show, MTV Pop 20. The only ad free and hosted music countdown on subscription television, MTV Pop 20 will be hosted by MTV VJ’s, Kate Peck and Krit and air Saturday’s from 9am.
“Becoming MTV’s newest VJ and moving to Australia has been awesome! I’m having such great time and it’s just getting better now that I get to host my own show alongside my MTV wingman, Kate Peck!” said MTV VJ Krit.
MTV Pop 20 will countdown the hottest 20 clips of the week in a new link and clip show produced and filmed on set at MTV HQ in Sydney. The program will showcase the hottest and most talked about tracks across Australia and New Zealand. MTV Pop 20 will air on MTV Music (Channel 808 on Foxtel), MTV (Channel 124 on Foxtel) and MTV Hits in New Zealand (Channel 110 on SKY) from 9am Saturday mornings.
