Deborah Hutton to host 11th annual ASTRA Awards

Media personality Deborah Hutton will host subscription television’s 11th ASTRA Awards this year.
Deborah, who hosts the Foxtel Movie Show on Arena, is hosting the awards ceremony for the first time. The awards will be at the Sydney Theatre, Walsh Bay, on Thursday July 25.
“I couldn’t be more thrilled to be hosting the annual ASTRA Awards. It’s really quite an honour and such a wonderful evening shared with peers in applauding all that’s great about our industry. Fingers crossed I don’t trip on my gown heading onto
the stage…now that would make an entrance!” Deborah Hutton said.
ASTRA CEO Andrew Maiden said Deborah was an outstanding ambassador for the subscription television sector. “Deborah will bring both her warmth and high calibre media experience to the hosting role,” he said.
The ASTRA Awards recognise excellence in the Australian subscription TV industry, with a total of 21 awards including Channel of the Year, covering both industry voted and subscriber-voted categories. There are more than 75 nominees across all categories.

Viewers will be able to catch highlights of the 2013 ASTRA Awards from Monday, July 29 on Foxtel On Demand and Foxtel Go.
