eckfactor was engaged by the arts channel STUDIO to handle the publicity for its launch in April 2010 and the initial program publicity campaign.This original engagement was extended, with eckfactor maintaining an ongoing involvement handling program publicity through to 2012. Through a personalised and hands-on process to secure coverage, every month the channel’s unique arts programming generates scores of press clips in major metropolitan dailies and regional press around the country.
Particular focuses have included working on the program publicity for exclusive world-premiere programming including Smoke & Mirrors (featuring iOTA) and For the Love of Books – and also for events such as Notes from the Hard Road and Beyond and Handa Opera on Sydney Harbour: La Traviata.
eckfactor has worked closely with the channel to ensure top quality written and visual supporting materials for television reviewers, supplied in both a timely and efficient manner.
STUDIO is channel 132 on subscription television and is operated by SBS Subscription TV.
