MEDIA RELEASE: MTV descended on Sydney, Australia last month to film the first leg of the Big Day Out 2013 and record performances by Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Killers, Band of Horses and Vampire Weekend in high definition for MTV’s global live music series, MTV World Stage.
The Australian and New Zealand world exclusive of MTV World Stage Big Day Out airs on Friday 8 February at 9.30pm and features 60 minutes of live performances by Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Killers, Band of Horses and Vampire Weekend from the January 18 Big Day Out in Sydney, giving audiences and die-hard BDO fans the chance to be part of the spectacular music event.

As if this wasn’t enough to put a smile on any fans face, audiences will also get the exclusive screening of MTV World Stage The Killers, first, on Friday 15 February at 10pm, featuring 30 minutes of live performances from The Killers set at the Sydney Big Day Out.
