Fans have the power to tweet and vote for the fifth wild card nominee
2014 MTV EMA season is underway! MTV today has revealed the first four nominees for “Best Australian Act” comprising Sia, Justice Crew, Iggy Azalea and 5 Seconds of Summer. For the first time ever, MTV is putting an 2014 MTV EMA nomination in the hands of the fans via social media – music lovers everywhere will have the power to help select the fifth nominee for “Best Australian Act”.
Fans can vote and tweet, using the hashtags below plus #mtvema from the following list of artists to earn the fifth nominee spot:

The wild card Twitter vote is open until 14 September 2014 @ 19:59 AEST. All 2014 MTV EMA nominees will be announced and voting will open on 16 September 2014 @ 20:00 AEST.
The 2014 MTV EMA will broadcast live on MTV channels around the world on Monday 10th November @ 11am AEST from The Hydro in Glasgow.
