There’s no place quite like home and after frantically clicking their nine-inch stiletto heels together, the Geordies we all know and love return to the hallowed turf of Newcastle for Geordie Shore Series 8, launching on Wednesday July 23 at 7am on MTV. As if Gaz’s parsnip, Scott’s insatiable sex drive and James’ comb over weren’t enough for our Geordie lasses, we’ve thrown two new mint lads into the mix: Kyle Christie and Aaron Chalmers.
Aaron works offshore on oil rigs so has to make the most of the time he gets to spend back home in Newcastle lining up a tight schedule of bootie calls for when he returns to the city. Prior to this, Aaron was a topless host in Newcastle and knows pretty much everyone in town. Aaron has been mates with Gaz for years and believes he is going to be fierce competition for Scott as Gary’s pulling buddy when he enters the house. He has also had the odd rough and tumble with Holly which she openly claims was ‘’the best of her life!’’. Let’s see if they end up back in the shag pad together after a night ‘gan doon the toon?!’
Series 7 saw the cast welcome Marnie into the house (well the boys were more welcoming than the girls, especially Scott who invited her into his bed), so will she be game for some more Scott bucking or will he be back-benched for a newbie? Back on familiar turf will the guys look for love in the house or venture further afield? Will personal trainer James be able to help Vicky keep to her strict new exercise and diet regime or will the booze fuelled Newcastle nights and late night kebab runs be too much for her to resist? Will another colour change for Holly’s hair bring all the boys to the yard and what imaginative way will Charlotte immortalise her lady parts this time to send to her boyfriend to help survive their time apart? Finally will Gaz retain his crown as King of the buck squad?
Series 8 also sees the cast pop over to Iceland – not the one on Newcastle high street but to Reykjavík where they visit famous historical Icelandic landmarks such as the world famous penis museum! Tune in to see if James challenges Magnús Ver Magnússon for the world’s strongest man title; if Charlotte gets to hang out with the equally shy and retiring singer Björk; if Gaz, Scott, Aaron and Kyle fish for anything other than girls; and if Vicky, Holly or Marnie’s hearts melt for any tackle.
