THE POWERPUFF GIRLS SAVE THE WORLD WITH RINGO STARR

The Beatles legend Ringo Starr joins the cast in the groundbreaking and Emmy®-winning series The Powerpuff Girls in “Dance Pantsed” a redesigned and re-imagined CG special to screen Saturday 10 May at 12pm and Sunday 11 May at 3pm on Cartoon Network.
Starr will take on the role of Fibonacci Sequins, Townsville’s famous flamboyant mathematician, performing an original music video and song “I Wish I Was A Powerpuff Girl”.
The trio of pint-sized super heroines will be called upon to rescue to world before bedtime in the special, with Starr joining the original voice cast.
“Sugar, spice and everything nice… plus a dash of mysterious Chemical X” were the ingredients that created the crime-fighting trio Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup – also known as The Powerpuff Girls, which is celebrating its 15-year anniversary on Cartoon Network.
“Dance Pantsed” is produced by Cartoon Network Studios in association with UK’s Passion Pictures, with Dave Smith directing and Kevin Dart on board as art director.
The special will screen Saturday 10 May at 12pm and Sunday 11 May at 3pm on Cartoon Network.
