CHALLENGE:
eckfactor represents Sony Pictures Television International (SPTI) in marketing and publicity for Australia and New Zealand. We were asked to create a publicity and promotional campaign around Days of Our Lives' star Matthew Ashford (the Original Jack Deveraux), who visited Australia to help generate a buzz with Channel Nine viewers.
STRATEGY:
eckfactor looked to generate publicity across print, television and radio while managing talent in Australia. We fostered and supported relationships with key television and soap writers on behalf of SPTI. eckfactor coordinated a shopping centre appearance with Matthew Ashford, attracting good crowds.
ECKFACTOR RESULTS:
Interviews were conducted with mainstream television (Mornings with Kerri-Anne) and magazines (TV Week, TV Soap, Woman's Day), radio, suburban and metropolitan newspapers. eckfactor facilitated a cross promotional campaign with TV Soap Magazine, Channel Nine and Days of Our Lives. We arranged a media event in Sydney and organised an intimate media lunch with key soap writers.
